I went to see “The DaVinci Code” tonight.. and I won’t go into any detail for those who haven’t seen it yet.. but I will say this.. it would have been more enjoyable if I had not read the book first..
Reading the book brings the characters alive.. It flows… it keeps you on the edge of your seat.. The movie however keeps you wondering what else did they use creative license for.. I found the movie frustrating … There was little character development .. and the movie jumped around.. and many things I found to be key feature in the novel where left out or not elaborated on at all.
I think everyone should decide for yourselves what they think of the movie.. this is only my opinion.. But a suggestion .. if you have not read the book yet.. wait till after you see the movie.. and then you will see how much more you will appreciate the novel itself.
